Product Review: Wealthy Affiliate

Overview

Today I am going to review a Home Based Business training program called Wealthy Affiliate.  What they claim to teach you is how to become an affiliate of a larger company or organization.  They teach you how to build a website and “advertise “your ‘parent’ company’s product on your website.  When visitors come to your website and click on your “parent company’s link and buy their product, you get a  commission.

I will take a look at the operation of Wealthy Affiliate in terms of honesty, integrity, effective training, and company support.

But first, let’s take a look at what Wealthy Affiliate does as a training platform.

Here are some of the most common “positives” that attract people.

I have heard nothing but raves from different people on how Wealthy Affiliate has helped them learn how to build an online business.

Their “motto” is called “Pay it Forward” which is as you help others they will help you. There is no competition among the WA Community because WA uses the niche system.  In other words, you promote a product/system that is your passion or high interest to you, not some juice or vitamins.

Wealthy Affiliate rewards its members with a ranking system for helping others achieve their goals. The rewards are not always monetary, but enduring friendships, as you communicate with others by answering their questions, making comments, and just giving them encouraging words to them.

Let us hear some success stories and recommendations.

This  one is from a Bill  from Wake Island and now in the United States:

WKL

“When I left Wake Island, where I had been for the most part for 30 years +, I had no retirement or pension. Social Security does not hack it. So I was looking for some way to increase our revenue.

I think many of you have gone this route in your lives also, that is looking for something to build revenue. I found myself way too gullible to the “scammers”. As I found out that if it “seems too good to be true,” it usually is.

As an example, I was sucked into one scheme with an “Ad” “Earn Big Money by Just Typing”. They told me I could do all this wonderful work at home at my “own pace”.

I soon found out I had to invest some cash into this operation, not very much at first. That should have told me to watch out! But I didn’t. Sound familiar to any of you that have been scammed? Then increasing larger amounts of money were required as the process proceeded. ,

So far, I hadn’t earned a dime or even performed any tasks for them. This continued until I finally said no more! By then, I had a good piece of change invested.

This was one of the several “scams” that enticed me into this “work-at-home” trap. (I want to say however there are many good “work-at-home” plans but you just have to be careful.)

Even MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) companies can be borderline scams. You have to judge for yourself, “Do I have the sales ability” to promote their products? Can I afford to pay their start-up costs? Can I recruit a network of others under me? Do I like a sales quota set before me?

As I continued to get involved in several worthless plans and lost money. I thought there has got to be something I could do by working at home. Well, there is!

I did find something better.

The company is called Wealthy Affiliate which is involved in online affiliate marketing training.  Wealthy Affiliate is truly a “Work at Home” business.

No recruiting others to your “organization”, no sales pitches, no inventories or shipping, or customer service (unless you want to sell your own product),.

In affiliate marketing, you promote affiliate programs, like Amazon.com, Wilson Sporting Goods, Target Walmart, and many others. It all depends on your niche.

What is a niche?

It is a passion or interest you have in life like healthcare, sports, automobiles, aviation, financial interests, or personal development,. So what is your interest or passion?

In other words with a website and a niche, you can derive income from doing what you like best, not selling some vitamins, cleaning products, or juices.

What is Wealthy Affiliate?

I found that Wealthy Affiliate is not a product or a business as much as it is a training platform enabling you to develop a business by building websites and teaching you affiliate marketing, and much, much more.

How did I come across WA? I was visiting a site called scamxposer.com trying to determine whether a certain company was legit.   Scam-x-Poser reviews hundreds if not thousands of online marketing and MLM companies.

An individual company may be shown by Scam-x-poser as recommended, not-recommend, or a scam.  Scam-x-poser also has a list of the top 25 or so top companies they recommend as legitimate online businesses. We saw that Wealthy Affiliate was near the top of the list they recommend. So we signed up.

Bill and Sue

This was a very wise decision on our part. My wife and I have loved being part of the Wealthy Affiliate  Community for over  8 years now. We have 3 websites and are learning and growing constantly. Besides the training, you get to meet and make friends in the WA Community.

You will have your own business, no one to tell you how many hours you have to put in or when. You are your own boss! Is this a “get-rich-overnight scheme”? Absolutely not! You do have to spend time training and implementing the training taught you.  It does take some time to develop this business but is well worth the effort.

Are you brand new to affiliate marketing?  This program starts at Step 1 not Step 50 as some training programs do. There is no other training organization that offers as much for the price as Wealthy Affiliate.

Sign up for the free Starter Membership, and see what it is all about. It will cost nothing to fill out the sign-up form.

If you like the overall program, I am sure you will want to go Premium. It took Sue and me just 3 days as a Starter Member to realize that Wealthy Affiliate was what we were looking for and we upgraded to Premium Membership.  I know you will like it.” …Bill
